ECU - Electronic Control Unit
New and improved computer boards and program, Traction Air’s latest Electronic Control Unit “TAEC7” is an 8-30V multi volt ECU that allows it to be powered by any vehicle’s electrical system, 12V or 24V. The new Graphic LCD Display features larger, white backlit pressure indication digits and updated keypad and switches. TAEC7 includes improved diagnostics and an installation interface through a USB port; the USB port allows us to plug in to the ECU for diagnosis or to provide enhancements and upgrades without having to uninstall or disassemble the unit.
Released in September 2011, the new ECU gives you the best of both worlds; it is fully integrated providing GPS speed up functions that are set to your requirements for safety. The GPS Speed Up function can be can be enabled or disabled at the factory and tailored to suit your application, and so the choice is yours.
TAEC7 Is our most compact ECU to date, space can be a premium in modern cabs and this was at the forefront when designing the new ECU. At just 85mm x 68mm x 38mm, this ECU will mount conveniently on most dashboards and has the ability to fit inside radio slots.
